Stone-Wall
Something there is that doesn't love a wall. -Robert Frost, "Mending Walls"
The walls we both erected Until that perfect love was selected. The walls we both erected So our love would not be neglected. The walls we both erected So our hearts would be protected. The walls we both erected So our mutual love would not be detected.
But now the walls must come down So our hearts can be found. Come down they must So we can both learn to trust. We must destroy these walls So we may both in love fall. And we can use the wall's stones To lay our love's foundation upon.
