as cold as ice
a glacial stare
her snowy white
ice crystal hair
her ruby lips
have just a hint
of a taste of sweet
cool peppermint.
and 'neath her breast
a warming glow
of a heart encased
in a winter snow
a winter long
with fading sun
this frozen heart
she shares with none.
